Arlo is working on their Masters degree in Counselling Psychology. Arlo's focus is on queer

  identities and experiences, as well as mood       

       disorders and related issues. Arlo is registered

          with the CRPO as a qualifying

               psychotherapist, which means their

                services may be covered by benefits

                 providers. Arlo is working under the

                  supervision of Emma for the duration of

                   their placement until spring 2025. 

                   Arlo has an undergrad degree from                          Laurentian University, where they                                studied psychology and law & justice.                       They originally pursued a career in law, but             realized their passion is mental health, and          began their journey to become a registered psychotherapist. 

Arlo has lived experience as a queer, non-binary person, which gives them unique understanding of the extra struggles faced by those communities. In their free time, Arlo loves to craft, especially fibre arts including crochet and embroidery, and jewelry-making. Arlo ran Stardust's Stitch & Bitch peer support group until they had to pause the group for their placement, so Arlo might be a familiar face to some at Stardust!
