Emma Griffiths MSW, RSW
they/them/she/her

Emma is a Registered Social Worker specializing in queer experiences, trauma, and neurodivergence. Their approach is very casual and conversational, because they believe therapy shouldn't be scary.

Emma is a queer, nonbinary human with lived   experience of mental health adventures, trauma,          and neurodivergence. They live in Hamilton with          their 2 dogs and 2 rabbits and their big                            blended polyamorous family. They love to

craft and bake, and enjoy learning about                        science, true crime, and pop culture.

Emma has worked in shelters for families                      leaving domestic violence. She worked as                    a sexual assault counsellor and then                              worked in child protection, which                                    destroyed their soul, so they left and                             started their own practice. Emma got                           their Bachelor of Social Work from the                       University of Waterloo in 2014 and their                        MSW from York University in 2017.

Emma has been working in this role since                 2019. It is their jam and it feeds their soul.
